We're Jess and Jessica, and we've been happily married since August 2005. Together, we've built a beautiful family, welcoming six wonderful children into our lives.
As parents, we often get asked, "Are your names really Jess and Jessica?" Well, the answer is yes! It's been quite amusing and occasionally confusing for people. When our niece was young, she couldn't quite pronounce Jessica's name correctly, so she started calling us "Jess and Ica." From then on, Jessica became fondly known as "Ica" by our nieces and nephews.
For as long as I can remember, I've always had a passion for creating things. However, I never had the opportunity to fully explore that love until I had the chance to design a wooden building toy for our children.
In 2012, I dedicated months to brainstorming and sketching out designs for a wooden fort set that our kids could enjoy. After numerous iterations, I finally crafted a life-size fort set that brought endless joy to our little ones. It was during this time that I realized I could share these creations with others and turn it into a business.
We initially launched our products on popular platforms like Amazon, Etsy, and eBay. To our delight, the response was overwhelmingly positive right from the start. Our garage quickly transformed into a bustling workshop as we worked tirelessly to fulfill the Christmas orders pouring in. As time went on, we expanded our product range to offer even more delightful creations.
Now, I have the privilege of working from home, spending quality time in the garage crafting items that we use and cherish within our own family. Our kids enthusiastically join in on the fun, painting and assembling projects with the leftover materials. The younger ones are always requesting cutouts to personalize and decorate their own rooms.
